Merr's Banana Pudding

This recipe is amazing. I have always been a huge banana pudding lover, but this just knocked every other recipe out of the park! From Lancaster Family Recipes... contributed by Betty Fowlkes.

Zach: "I already knew it was great." (He grew up on it camping with family)
JT: "This is really good mommy."

Merr's Banana Pudding

2 1/2 cups cold milk
1 large package (5.1 oz) Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling
1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
30 Vanilla Wafers
4-5 Medium Bananas, sliced
1 - 8 oz tub Cool Whip, Thawed

Mix pudding as directed using 2 1/2 cups milk. Add condensed milk and cool whip. Arrange 1/2 of the vanilla wafers on the bottom and up the sides of a 2 qt. serving bowl or 9x13 baking dish. Top with layers of half each of the banana slices and pudding mixture. Repeat with another layer. Top with vanilla wafers. Refrigerate 3 hours or until ready to serve. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

Here is a picture of our final product. JT put all of the cookies on the bottom and top. He also helped mix the pudding mixture. So this is a great recipe to let the kiddos help with! :)
